In your first month, we'll focus on understanding your soft and hard skills, preparing you to succeed in your internship and matching you to an excellent internship and mentor that align with your skills and interests. This includes skill assessments, training and personalized resume and interview preparation.
Venture Fellows are guaranteed a paid internship at a venture-backed startup that aligns with their skills and interests. Fellows will be introduced to 3-5 companies at a time to setup interviews. Ultimately, Fellows decide which company they want to work with for their 10 week internship!
Once Fellows choose their host company for their internship, they're matched with a mentor who is a working professional in their career track. Mentors provide support on Fellows' internship projects as well as career navigation and guidance!
Venture Fellows present their internship projects to our community of founders, mentors, peers and venture capitalists! This is an excellent time to showcase your skills and build your network! After the 3 month program ends, Fellows have primary access to paid internship and flexible part time opportunities on the folio platform. Fellows also have lifetime access to our Speaker Series, free tools, community, training and events.
